Coffee with the coalition is our monthly topical training series. Throughout this series we will be providing trainings from experts in their fields on topics that have been requested by sexual assault service providers and Rape Crisis Centers.
This month we will be featuring a training from Brikitta Hairston. Hairston is the Title IX and Civil Rights Investigator for Students and the University of Massachusetts Boston. Hairston is well-versed in Title IX and the new regulations. Register below for this presentation.

The CORE 40 is a free Sexual Assault Victim Advocate training designed primarily for sexual assault advocates working with victims of sexual assault in Rape Crisis Centers or Dual/Multi-Service Organizations. The training topics are standardized with suggested teaching points that allow for consistency throughout the field. This training offers the necessary “core” or basic knowledge and skills to provide competent and effective sexual assault services to meet the specialized needs of victims impacted by sexual violence. *Please note that sessions will be Monday through Friday, and attendance at all sessions is required for a certificate*. We have been approved for 8.8 Continuing Legal Education Units, 10.5 Behavioral Health Continuing Education Units, and 4 Law Enforcement credits.

If you were not able to attend the Yesterday, Today, & Tomorrow conference live, you can register below, and view on your own time. You will experience presenters as they review the history of human trafficking in the US, recent and current efforts to combat human trafficking in Indiana, and collaborations to enhance efforts moving forward. Special topics this year will include understanding exploitation of males, expanding labor trafficking awareness across the state, and the overlap between child marriage and familial trafficking.
