Learn about how we’re working to make the number of sexual assaults zero in Indiana.

#MakeTheNumberZero, also referred to as #MTNO, is ICESAHT’s annual fundraising campaign that allows YOU to become involved in ending Sexual Violence and Human Trafficking in Indiana. It may be perplexing to see a fundraising campaign with an end goal of zero, so why call it that? The campaign “Make the Number Zero” speaks directly to the ultimate goal that drives ICESAHT’s work – to make the number of incidents of Sexual Violence and Human Trafficking ZERO in the state of Indiana. Sexual Violence and Human Trafficking are 100% PREVENTABLE. Local and statewide services and initiatives are essential toward achieving this goal. YOU TOO are essential in ending Sexual Violence and Human Trafficking, by donating to the Make the Number Zero campaign.

This year we seek your support as we strive to reach our goal of $50,000 to continue the progressive, meaningful, and impactful work that the Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault & Human Trafficking has been engaged in over the past 2.5 years.

Every Little Bit Helps.

Through the generosity of people like you, ICESAHT is able to be a strong voice for survivors whose voices have often been silenced by shame and fear. Donations raised go toward building a robust and relevant coalition with a focus on ending sexual assault. There are many intricate layers to this systemic problem that must be addressed in order to achieve this goal. With your support we will be able to address these layers and ultimately achieve this goal. Your donations will be used to not only train law enforcement personnel, medical professionals, community leaders, sexual assault advocates, social workers, schools (students, teachers, administration), college campuses, but to also, assist and provide resources (including programs and trainings) to Sexual Assault Response Teams, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs), create and sustain Rape Crisis Centers and other sexual assault services where services have not existed for many years, etc.

Your funds support an organization dedicated to empowering victims and the work described above will do just that. How? Each dollar helps to address the intricate layers of this systemic problem. As we are able to address a layer, and then another layer, and so on, change is inevitable. A new normal will derive out of the old and a culture of care will be created. Within this culture of care, survivors will be empowered to have a voice no longer silenced by shame and fear, victims will be believed,  blame will rightfully shift from the victim to the perpetrator, risk factors will be addressed etc., which will lead to the culmination of a world devoid of sexual violence. WOW. What a world that would be! Impossible?

It always seems impossible until it’s done. – Nelson Mandela

Let’s get it done. Thank you for your support!
