The Resources Necessary to Support Those Who Need It
The ICESAHT toolkit is now available.
The toolkit to provides a concise and comprehensive resource for new and existing SARTs. The SART Toolkit was created for Prosecutors, Advocates, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE), Law Enforcement, Victim Assistance, and agencies dedicated to responding to and ending sexual violence in their communities.
SARTs at all stages of development can find support and information in the toolkit, as they develop and meet victim-centered, culturally relevant, trauma-informed, community-specific goals to support victims and hold offenders accountable. The goal of the SART Toolkit is to improve individual, agency, and systemic response to victims by promoting the building of relationships and creating the open communication needed to engage in these difficult conversations.
